The worst video game of all time

The author first starts off my introducing himself. His name is Roman Marks. This is an episode talking about the worst video game of all time, it is based on the video game E.T. It started off by people getting very excited to find this video game that was burried in the dessert. It is the story about a company called Attari. This has a lot of different sound affects during the whole podcast.

Vocal Delivery: The voice of the main host is very soothing and allows the user to understand what is happening. It is the perfect speed with the perfect pronunciation. This podcast is an interview with many different people who were looking for the video game in the dessert. The interview questions are very professional and allows the user to feel that they are a part of the story. I think she has a great way of explaining what is happening. She clearly has had done some research and is very knowledgable about the history of the Smithsonian. She also goes through the history of video games to allow people to understand the history of video games and entertainment. It is clear that she is passionate about the topic and she is clearly enjoying her work while she is laughing and asking genuine questions.

Music: There are a lot of different music that is shown in this podcast. There is an introduction music that really shows the beginning of the podcast. At the end of the podcast there is also a different music that shows the podcast has ended. Another interesting fact, when talking about key ideas, they have different music to show what is happening. For example, when they are talking about Indiana Jones, they play the Indiana Jones theme song. Or when they are talking about James Bond or E.T, they continue to play those respective theme songs. I thought this was a very smart idea on how to engage the reader and make them understand the music that is so commonly known.

Sound Effects: There are a lot of sound effects throughout the entire podcast. For every event that is happening there would be a sound effect in the background. For example, when they went to he dessert to find the lost video games, they would play sound effects that had to do with construction or digging. This allowed the listener to understand what the people in the podcast were doing. Another sound effect is when they are talking about video games, the sound has a lot of video game noises and arcade noises that shows what people are really thinking and how they are playing video games.
